My favourite memories of Pastime are the early Summer schools in Penne d’Ardennais with Lieven and the other venues. The time we meet the Courtnays and Bill was with us. Ballygues? Freshpeche?Without looking them up, I can’t remember all the places we had summer schools in France. Always jolly hard work but such fun, cooking, working and being together. Can’t spell them either.

After the first summer school we performed at the EDC and Cathy Greenhill was very impressed with our progress as a group.

Richelieu is a terrific venue and so nice to have so many rooms in a historic town. Such a pity the group don’t want to travel anymore. The Isle of Wight can’t complete.
